Ask for the payment on the sales call.
If someone is ready, make it easy for them to move forward.
If they are not ready, you will know what still needs to be addressed.
I have found that sending a proposal after every call and hoping they come back is not the ideal sales process (at least for me).
I used to have a good conversation.
Prospect seemed interested.
I'd send the proposal.
Then they'd disappear.
Because life gets busy, urgency fades, and unanswered questions remain unanswered.
A good sales call should help someone make a clear decision.
Sometimes that decision is yes.
Sometimes it is no.
But either way, do not end the call in a fog because you were scared to ask.
