n this video, I take a stance that might surprise some of you (but won't surprise longtime viewers -- contrary to what some might say, the success of the game itself has always been my number one priority): as a dedicated PvPer, I believe Star Citizen *needs* instanced content to survive and thrive. While open-world PvP is part of the game’s DNA, instancing could solve major problems with balance, accessibility, and long-term player retention.

I’ll break down why instancing isn’t the “death of immersion” some claim, but instead a necessary step for the health of the game. Whether you’re a PvPer, PvE player, or just want Star Citizen to succeed, this is a conversation worth having. Anyone who's ever attempted any events in game only to be bombed by a drive-by A1 knows exactly what I'm talking about.
