Let’s admit it: French can be really, really hard. If you sometimes feel confused or frustrated, especially if you’ve been learning for a while, that’s completely normal. And it’s definitely not your fault!

In this video, I want to help you understand why French feels so tricky… especially when what you learned in school doesn’t match the French you hear every day. We’ll talk about the big differences between spoken and written French, why French has SO many exceptions, and why the French you learned years ago isn’t always the French people speak now.

Remember: you don’t need to be perfect to communicate. Mistakes are okay. Real French is messy, even for native speakers! Let’s change how you think about it by focusing on speaking — not perfect grammar.
