also open poll for those who actually have experience with snes9x recording: which version is the best to use? wanna know before I get too far in on anything.
oh yeah forgot to add that the version's 1.43 v17
Also, does anyone know what's up with the fact that when recording this, the audio sounds terrible, but it ends up sounding OK in the avi? Does it have to do with the fact that I turned off "Sync samples with sound CPU" (I remember reading somewhere that it's better to have that off when recording the .avi)?
also it's really weird getting used to frame advance when there was actually always a 5-frame delay in button input

I love this video game series way too much. Even this one, though the grinding in this one in particular can be pretty ridiculous and the story is not my favorite of the three.
Unfortunately, RNG decides whether you can 1-turn this mission. If there are two crates in Area 3 and only one crate at the closer spawn position in Area 4 (and ideally only one crate at the closer spawn position in Area 5), its far easier. Otherwise, you have to get lucky with Truth Seeker on Lotte in Area 4. Theres also a lot of fiddling around with the Gatling Turret in Area 2 because I thought of that during this run and wasnt sure if I could get Alicia to hit around the front.
Besides that, its a whole lot of waiting for Anti-Intercept to proc then running headfirst into everything. Sounds like scouts to me.")
