Kids in Syracuse are going back to school on September 8th. While the school zone speeding cameras are now handled primarily by the City of Syracuse, the school bus cameras are more in SPD’s lane.

The school bus cameras were installed because cars were passing buses while kids were actively getting off the bus. It put kids at risk of getting hit and possibly injured.
