This week marks the 4th anniversary of me finding out that my DNA is over 70% Norwegian Viking, and i have tried to do as much research as possible. I have not only traced my DNA ancestry to the furthest parts of the Norwegian Arctic circle and the Sami people, but also that my ancestors fought in the battle at Clontarf , Dublin, Ireland..My historical DNA journey continues..
To mark my Viking blood I have written this song, and sung it with as much chant vigour as possible.:) I could even add my old pagan drum without hurting my broken arm.Ha ha :) Apart from my own lyrics, I have chosen some real Viking quotes to use , such as
'' Where wolves ears are, wolves teeth are near''
This song is written about the Vikings first venture on our shores and the historic invasion of Lindisfarne
The Celtic/Nordic image is of Fenrir the viking god in Norse mythology
