On October 7th 2023 , FWC Officer Givens Was on Water Patrol near Duck Key, Monroe County. When he observed a 20 ft vessel with 12 young adults backing away from a large white cabin motorboat.
While approaching the vessel to conduct a safety inspection
Officer Givens observed multiple alcoholic beverage containers
floating in the water downwind of the vessel. The officer will soon make contact with the vessel, noting several intoxicated occupants
And the operator, later identified as Adam.
