There are plenty of things people warn you about before becoming a parent.
The sleepless nights.
The diapers.
The tantrums.
But nobody warned me that running errands would become self-care... that preschool would feel strangely like high school... or that I'd suddenly have very strong opinions about water filters and light bulbs.
Today we're folding laundry (because there's always laundry) and talking about all the little ways life has surprised me over the past few years. Some are funny, some are unexpected, and one or two caught me completely off guard.
I'd love to know...
When was the last time you caught yourself thinking, "When did I become this person?"
