During WW1 the British would devise the use of balloons with steel cables to bring down enemy aircraft. Once WW2 rolled around the barrage balloons would again be implemented to ward off German aircraft over the skies of Britain. In this video we look at the use of the barrage balloons and their impact on World War Two.
