On Dday, June 6th, 1944 while the allied invasion began, a German Wehrmacht soldier was positioned along the coast. His name was, Heinrich Severloh and he would come to be nicknamed 'The Beast of Omaha'. In this video we look at Heinrich Severloh, his actions on Dday within Widerstandsnest 62 and the German perspective of Omaha beach.
