What is this adorable little droid Pelli Motto has in The Book of Boba Fett? It’s a BD explorer droid, and that model was first created for the Star Wars Jedi games in the form of BD-1. They were created to help assist explorers in dangerous locations as they traveled the galaxy, able to be fairly independent and walk on all kinds of terrain. They could hold a variety of tools like scomp links, provide health stims for their partners, and even little jetpacks so they could fly.
