Drabatans were amphibious beings from the swampy world Pipada. They were vocal critics of the Galactic Empire and Emperor Palpatine. When a singer named Sa’Kalla defied the Empire on stage, she was killed, causing a riot. Imperial occupation followed soon after, and Pipada was torn apart for its resources. Of course this led some Drabatans like Pao to join the Rebel Alliance, and many of them used the war cry Sa’Kalla in battle. #starwars
