What does it really mean to love? In our society, I think we have lost our understanding of what love really is. Our culture tends to think of love as acceptance. That is where were get immoral sexual ethics and bans on all forms of conversion therapy.
However, love is actually doing what is best for the other person. That is the kind of love God showed to us, and it is the kind of love we are commanded to show in I Corinthians 13.
