Since 2024, UN Women has been enabling young leaders to contribute to advancing peace and stability in Asia and the Pacific through a regional initiative “Gen-Forum.
Gen-Forum is a platform that focuses on empowering young women and men to drive implementation of the Women, Peace and Security agenda and promote women's leadership and equality in decision-making.
By building knowledge and skills, deepening leadership capacity, and centering intersectionality and inclusion, UN Women is helping to unlock the potential of a rising generation of women, peace and security advocates and their ideas to engage with policymakers, and to promote inclusion in decision-making.
By examining regional peace and security challenges, including new and emerging security issues, participants in the Gen-Forum 2025–2026: Asia-Pacific Virtual Leadership and Learning Series leveraged the outcomes of Gen-Forum 2024 to chart future priorities and action.

지난 11월14일, 유엔여성기구 지식·파트너십 센터는 ‘유엔여성기구 민간 포럼: 모두의 지속가능한 미래를 위한 돌봄 서비스 혁신과 투자’를 개최했습니다.
이번 포럼에는 건설, 금융, 투자, 인공지능, 리서치 등 다양한 산업 분야의 국내 민간기업 리더들과 아시아 각국의 해외 기업 연사들이 참석했습니다. 참석자들은 급격한 고령화 속에서 시니어 돌봄을 중심으로 논의를 이어갔습니다. 특히, 기존의 무급 돌봄을 서비스로 전환하고 사회적 가치와 비즈니스 기회를 연결하는 민간 부문의 역할과 가능성을 중점적으로 다뤘습니다.
