The first Women’s Empowerment Principles (#WEPs) Corporate Action Lab in Cambodia is now underway. The Lab is a six-month, hands-on program that supports companies in turning gender equality commitments into practical workplace action.
Eleven companies, our #WEPsChangemakers from diverse sectors, have joined the inaugural cohort to strengthen gender inclusion, accelerate progress on the SDGs, and build more equitable and resilient workplaces.
Delivered by the UN Women Gender Action Lab, supported by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, this inaugural Cambodia Lab is guided by the thematic focus “Fostering Inclusive Leadership for Gender Equality in Business.”
In this video, hear from the cohort about why they joined the Lab and what they hope to achieve as they work together over the next six months to test new solutions and drive meaningful change.

![After displacement in Myanmar, Daw Dau Tsai is rebuilding her life as an animal health worker
Across Myanmar, around 3.6 million people are internally displaced due to conflict and natural disasters. And women are often left carrying much of the responsibility to keep families safe, fed, and connected during a crisis. With support from the Government of France and in partnership with UNFPA, UN Women supports women like Daw Dau Tsai to rebuild their lives by equipping them with new skills that help them earn income for their families while providing practical services that benefit the communities they are part of.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 – a historic milestone that laid the foundation for the global Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda. To commemorate this landmark, UN Women Indonesia shines a spotlight on four extraordinary women from Central Sulawesi of Indonesia — a region that has endured the compounded impacts of manmade and natural disasters. Through their voices, we witness powerful stories of resilience, leadership, and hope. These women are not only rebuilding their communities but also redefining what it means to lead in the context of peacebuilding and recovery.
