Welcome to The Life-Saving Divorce YouTube Channel. Hello, I'm Gretchen Baskerville, and I've been a Christian divorce recovery leader at churches since 1998. I believe in the sanctity of marriage: that God meant marriage to be lifelong, faithful, and loving. But what happens when a marriage is anything but that? What if it's unsafe?
That’s the question I answer on this YouTube channel. If you are a woman or man who needs a life-saving divorce, you’re in the right place. You may never have heard that term. But I’m sure you understand it already. We’re not talking about an "I'm bored" divorce, or "I miss the party life" divorce, or "I feel unfulfilled" divorce, or an "I found someone hotter" divorce.
We’re talking about divorces for very serious reasons, divorces to find relief from a marriage with a pattern of adultery, sexual immorality, physical or emotional abuse. This video will explain these toxic marriages and give you an idea of how many divorces in the U.S. fall into the Life-Saving divorce category.
