What Hills Should Christians Die On?
Acts 14:24–15:5
Preaching: Nathan Hargrave
This Sunday we continue our journey through the book of Acts as we examine Acts 14:24–15:5 and wrestle with an important question for the modern church: What truths must Christians stand firm on, and where should believers sharpen one another in unity?
In this passage, we see the early church navigating conflict, doctrinal clarity, and Christian fellowship. Paul and Barnabas model a balanced Christian life, pursuing peace and encouragement among believers while boldly defending the gospel when it is threatened. Together we will consider the difference between necessary defense of the faith and loving, brotherly discussion within the body of Christ.
In a culture shaped by uncertainty and relativism, Scripture reminds us that truth is not only real but revealed by God. Christians are called neither to cowardice nor unnecessary combativeness, but to conviction grounded in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
