Stalin explains that when the workers', peasants and soldiers overthrew the Tsar they expected to get peace, bread and land but got none. This is why the Provisional Government led by the Mensheviks, Narodniks and Capitalists failed to satisfy the people and had to be overthrown in the October Socialist Revolution.
