Kuusinen exposes the hypocritical lies of Western fake socialists who bowed down before Anglo-American imperialism. This speech continues to be incredibly topical today when USA imperialism still has military bases all over the world and is engaged in constant aggressive wars of profit. Kuusinen's point about customs unions is also very relevant in our day and comparable to the imperialism of the EU which strips nations of their sovereignty in favor of multinational monopoly capitalism.
