Well, actually, Ive been up later than this every night for the last week, so its actually not a biggie. But when the tiredness does kick in at about 4am, I cant type too well- Blue is witness to this, Im sure. xD

Uh, well, happy birthday. :3 This was a bit of a quickie, but its a return to Namiku that Ive been trying to do for quite some time (damn you, Hope! Outta my brain!) and Im happy to say it contains NO crack whatsoever. *cough*

The picture (yes, that badly drawn one) I did in about ten minutes. It was only pose practise, and originally wasnt supposed to be for anything, but I changed the hair designs a little, and stuck Rikus glove things on the guy, and hopefully it wasnt too shabby. And the colouring...! Ooh, my first try actually attempting an edited colouring on a video. No texture for a change, I just somehow (dont ask me how I did it, it was a miracle) turned everything all buttery and glowy. o.e

This was meant to be for Shipping Wars, but I get that its probably too late to count. My laptop broke, not sure why, blah blah, thought Id lost everything but we recovered the hard drive, and bam! Heres my Noctis/Zack angsty Seperation themed thing.
It also has a story. Whoops.
Zack and Noctis are together and happy- despite Noctis being in a position of power within the aristocracy/monarchy, little fuss is raised about him and Zack being an item. Etro, goddess of death and all that, repeatedly tries to tempt Noct into making a deal with her since she evidently fancies the idea of having a ~prince~ doing her bidding, but Zack is adamant that Noct stays away from her, no matter what happens.
A war breaks out, and even though Noctis manages to avoid Zack having to be conscripted/drafted for it, Zack rebels since he doesnt want to sit around feeling useless and runs off to try and fight. Trying to follow him, Noct gets there too late, and finds his dead body, understandably breaking down.
However, while mourning, he decides he cant watch him be buried, and goes and gives in to Etro in exchange for Zacks life- binding them both to Etro. For a while, he tries to keep poor Zack oblivious as to whats happened, pretending nothing has changed- but struggles to outright lie to him, which is what catches him out, as well as the fact that hes behaving oddly without meaning to and refusing to let him out in public . So when Zack jokes about Etro... he doesnt respond, leading Zack to come to the horrified realisation that the dreams hes had about dying and Etro all happened, were all real.
Zack snaps at him and leaves, but finds out pretty fast that his death and resurrection are big news, and a lot of people, convinced its unnatural, want him dead. Cornered by soldiers, he picks up his sword and tries to fight them off. Eventually, Noct realises that Zack must be in trouble, and he dashes off to try and help. By the time he gets there, there are only a few soldiers left, but his arrival distracts Zack and they manage to hold him down.
Noctis lets the heart of Etro take over, and slaughters them with minimal effort. When Zack shouts at him for being an idiot and taking on that sort of power for selfish reasons, for a moment he moves as if to attack him, causing him to back off. Noct resists enough to not harm Zack, but the strain causes him to pass out.
When they return home, although hes guilty for abandoning him, Zack tells Noctis that he just cant stand to be with someone he cant trust, that they cant be together anymore. Sick of the lies, and hoping to escape his enslavement to Etro by getting out to fight elsewhere, with a few apologies he leaves as Noctis starts to regain consciousness, dazed and confused.
When Zack leaves, he doesnt wake up again until footsteps fall within that chamber again.
It isnt Zack. But the heart takes over, and even if he doesnt want to move, doesnt want to do anything, he stands up. He doesnt have a choice.
Bonus thingie dont know if it still counts:
My NOTP is Riku/Xion.
Simply because I cant see any grounding whatsoever for it. While I think Xions character is flat and dull, there at least might be some inclination towards putting her with Roxas or Axel or Namine or someone who she spent time with. Even though Riku had a lot of cutscenes with her, he was either beating the shit out of her, or talking about getting Sora back. I just... couldnt see chemistry there at all, and to me it seems like people desperately trying to pair Riku off with a girl, because omfg ew the yaois...!

Bet you didnt think Id post THIS today, huh? xD
After all my babbling and ranting about having no internet after last night... my dad took pity on me and salvaged the router, so Ive been able to run back to my laptop in between packing and attempting to help the moving guys and work on this.
I loved how it turned out...
Then the problems began.
My computer would not, and I mean would NOT render this. It would get to 1% and freeze or shut down, and I still dont know why. Eventually, I opened the project file in an empty Vegas (dragged it onto the timeline instead of fully opening it) and tried to render the compressed version- it got all the way to 5%.
T-T I then eventually rendered that compressed file into two second sections. Some of which didnt work and I had to re-find the clips and texture and urghhhh... Its finally rendered and although there are still glitches its nowhere near as bad as before.
Blue, thank you for all the countless inspiration Namis story gave me. -phew-
And I brought Zexion back in! And Larxene! xDD Though not in the same scene.
Story (should hopefully be a little clear, but this is just to be certain and because it gave me something to do during the many, many rendering processes.)
Before he knew it, before he could even start to comprehend what had just happened Namine was gone. Riku didnt want to believe it- it took days of wandering around all the places hed usually found her for it to finally sink in. Hed been able to tell that she was thinking about something, something she struggled to put into words Hed even told her about Hope. It hadnt stopped her. He spent countless hours mulling over that last conversation, wishing hed noticed the signs Riku didnt WANT it to be real, to sink in.
When it did, he wasnt angry with her- more with himself, for not seeing it coming and stopping her- even if it meant physically holding her there against her will. He made no attempt to talk to or explain what had happened to any of the other psychics- if they came and asked, hed give his answers, but in such a short and harsh way not many got much from their rather one-sided conversations. Riku isolated himself for a while, shutting himself away with Namines drawings and trying to figure out the future shed seen.
He snapped himself out of it in the end- sitting around moping wasnt going to get her back, so he left without telling anybody what he was going to do. They probably wouldnt notice, anyway- hed barely left his room since Namine had gone. Larxene found him soon afterwards, and teased him about Namine, distracting him enough to attack him without resistance. She mocked him one last time, then left, claiming taking him into the hunters was Zexions job and she didnt want to steal all the fun.
Riku wasnt just going to sit around and wait to be caught- so he tried to disguise himself as a hunter, like he had before hed found Namine and Zack in the first place. Most of the hunters around were fooled- except Zexion, whod know his brother anywhere. At first, he pretended to be grateful, offering Riku the chance to join the hunters again. The younger brother refused, but tried to make a deal- if they fought and he lost, hed willingly join the hunters again, but if he won, they had to make Namine leave Zexion was up for the deal. He attacked Riku, breaking the illusion, and they fought. After Riku slipped up and was knocked unconscious, Zexion picked him up and took him back to the hunters- but not to join them like hed promised he would.
Riku woke up, alone and helpless, in a room he recognised too well from his time with the hunters- one of the experimentation labs. Zexion had tricked him, all over again.
Oh, and I wasnt going to use this song at first... but I kept listening to it and I fell even more in love with it...
Poor, poor Riku. T-T I do love torturing him, and becoming an experimnt was probably the thing hed have dreaded most...
And, being the jerkass he was, and not telling anybody where he was headed... Hes pretty screwed.
The song is Last to Know by Three Days Grace.
And the editing in this is totally lazy but I cant do anything better in all of, well, today...

Noel Kreiss is a legend in his home city of Nikeah. In the heart of Karnak, he consistently comes out on top in fighting tournaments. Despite his mother Arecia running the tournaments, including the annual celebration for the Feast of the Bride, there is no nepotism at play here; Noel wins on his own merit.
Unfortunately, the adoration of his peers and his name being known across his home country has gone to his head. Noel thinks hes gods gift, essentially, and is fixated on his fame spreading to the rest of the continent. Hes convinced he is above the tournaments and wants to take things further, demanding his mother try to petition their leaders to arrange matches that cover other countries too. She isnt so easily swayed, and his father Auron doesnt believe that Noel is as strong as he thinks - he still cant beat him in a fair fight, after all.
Auron makes it clear that unless Noel can best him, the tournaments and Noel arent leaving Karnak. Noel tries multiple times, but fails. When the Feast of the Bride comes around, he walks out of the arena after finishing the title match, feeling oddly uneasy, and Auron follows him out.
When a ghost appears before them, while Noel is still worn out from hours of rising through the tournament ranks, Auron orders him to run and assist with evacuating the arena. For once, Noel does as hes told. And likely wishes he hadnt, because that ghost kills Auron.
With him dead, Noel cant beat his father to prove hes worthy - but he can do something else. Hell, he knows hell probably have this dumb ghost problem fixed with no trouble at all, and then his mother HAS to petition for more varied tournaments, right?
I knowww the story is all in the description, but when I tried to add dialogue it went by far too quickly to really be legible! Noels just an example of a spare character I have lying around for this thing, because Im THAT much of a nerd.

...I wanted to give arranging an MEP a go.
:3 So I picked the cheesiest, Disney-ist song I have on my new laptop (meet Sebastian Ezekiel Zachary Garrick Hope Johnson II. Yes, I really named it that. He was a somewhat eccentric character in my NaNoWriMo novel for 2009. I might put him in the next one, he was awesome.)

I finished this a week ago. That was shortly before I got in the hugest trouble Ive ever BEEN in, and basically ended up making my home life a living hell.
But Im (hopefully) now back.
And nows not the time for moaning or angsting over whats happened; its the time for babbling about this.
I can kind of recall most of the crap I had to say on this one.
Well, it was originally just a Psy!Riku and Hope... thing. It wasnt going anywhere, but I watched Blues baggage thingy and kind of very quickly got it stuck in my head that Terra and Aqua were Riku and Zexys parents.
I kind of had to ask around a bit for this one. ^^;
Terra is Terra here (eeeee, if anyone notices a connection other than TK or Blue you get cookies. :3) and is Rikus dad- because Riku was an accident, and Terra never really meant for anything to happen between him and Rikus mom. I couldnt get around using Aqua, because Aqua as a character was already bagsied, and TK had used Azure in Kairis past.
So I changed her hair and eye colour (also explaining away where Zexy and Rikus silvery hair came from) and decided she was Devia. She and Terra were drunk and made a promise... and Riku, both thinking the other was someone else at the time. Kind of awkward when Riku popped into existance and they had to act like a happy couple for him when Terra came to see his younger son.
Zexys dad remains an enigma at this point. xD And, oop, Yuna isnt Yuna. Shes just a random hunter chick who kills poor Nero. (whos being Hopes brother because I didnt want another clashing character, and they both have silvery-whitish hair xD)
I put a little of Nami in there during the past section... but bear in mind that Riku would only catch a glimpse, so he clearly wouldnt recognise her when he found her later on.
Kairis in this one quite a bit, but I was trying to align with TKs story so I dont think I did anything icky or stupid without permission. xDD
I HAVE got a more explain-y version of the past written up, but if I cop and paste it YT will delete all the punctuation... and I use a LOT of punctuation. xD

Please excuse the bad blood editing (I was desperately running out of time) and the lazy ending... and the bad timing towards the end, when Hope reappears.
That icky timing is because my computer is a douchebag, and I tried to get clever and render this in foty second chunks as I worked on it- so Id do 40 seconds, then render that part, delete all the clips and audio and replace it with the rendered chunk. Wash, rinse, repeat...
But I got to the end, and tried to leave the very last part as a minute. It crashed, and after copy and pasting that bit of the project throough seven different newly opened projects, I managed to render it... with no audio. And it wouldnt fit quite right when I plonked it back in and pieced all the parts together again.
I cut the song quite a bit, and it was hard to match it all up just right. D:
Anyway, enjoy.
And I might actually finish a Psychic video that actually, you know, CONTRIBUTES TO THE PLOT soon. T~T This was kind of a breather from attempting the thousands of moving-on videos.
I think I might have found a song that makes no sense given Rikus situation but allows me to be lazy and do a character montage toward the end. :3
So expect something plotty and in-the-present soon.
I want to make a bigger deal about Hope and Zexion, though, or else what I might have happen to poor Riku (I love torturing him so~! :3) would be a bit uncalled for.")
