my brainrot continues - I actually had a mockup for this video back in like. december where I was considering doing a reincarnation gone wrong kind of approach to zenosfucking (where he was a hot Ancient woman called Patroclus pre-Sundering) before the uh. descent into it being a thing in canon happened.
as a little background context, my OC Astra was forced to murder her tempered mother when she was a teenager... and she's part of a multi-wol verse where she's vibing as a WoL who is not Azem. the rest of the gang are VERY BRIEFLY here because I am bad at including them :'(((

...I wanted to give arranging an MEP a go.
:3 So I picked the cheesiest, Disney-ist song I have on my new laptop (meet Sebastian Ezekiel Zachary Garrick Hope Johnson II. Yes, I really named it that. He was a somewhat eccentric character in my NaNoWriMo novel for 2009. I might put him in the next one, he was awesome.)

Like, all I seem to do that gets attention around here is the sappy, sad stuff. And I dont want to produce something really short on my own but this song would get REALLY annoying.
There are 7 spots open cause I tried to cut the song evenly and so that I didnt chop words in two, meaning every part except for mine is around 20 seconds. Mine is longer ;cause otherwise somebody would have a five second part.

I finished this a week ago. That was shortly before I got in the hugest trouble Ive ever BEEN in, and basically ended up making my home life a living hell.
But Im (hopefully) now back.
And nows not the time for moaning or angsting over whats happened; its the time for babbling about this.
I can kind of recall most of the crap I had to say on this one.
Well, it was originally just a Psy!Riku and Hope... thing. It wasnt going anywhere, but I watched Blues baggage thingy and kind of very quickly got it stuck in my head that Terra and Aqua were Riku and Zexys parents.
I kind of had to ask around a bit for this one. ^^;
Terra is Terra here (eeeee, if anyone notices a connection other than TK or Blue you get cookies. :3) and is Rikus dad- because Riku was an accident, and Terra never really meant for anything to happen between him and Rikus mom. I couldnt get around using Aqua, because Aqua as a character was already bagsied, and TK had used Azure in Kairis past.
So I changed her hair and eye colour (also explaining away where Zexy and Rikus silvery hair came from) and decided she was Devia. She and Terra were drunk and made a promise... and Riku, both thinking the other was someone else at the time. Kind of awkward when Riku popped into existance and they had to act like a happy couple for him when Terra came to see his younger son.
Zexys dad remains an enigma at this point. xD And, oop, Yuna isnt Yuna. Shes just a random hunter chick who kills poor Nero. (whos being Hopes brother because I didnt want another clashing character, and they both have silvery-whitish hair xD)
I put a little of Nami in there during the past section... but bear in mind that Riku would only catch a glimpse, so he clearly wouldnt recognise her when he found her later on.
Kairis in this one quite a bit, but I was trying to align with TKs story so I dont think I did anything icky or stupid without permission. xDD
I HAVE got a more explain-y version of the past written up, but if I cop and paste it YT will delete all the punctuation... and I use a LOT of punctuation. xD

Please excuse the bad blood editing (I was desperately running out of time) and the lazy ending... and the bad timing towards the end, when Hope reappears.
That icky timing is because my computer is a douchebag, and I tried to get clever and render this in foty second chunks as I worked on it- so Id do 40 seconds, then render that part, delete all the clips and audio and replace it with the rendered chunk. Wash, rinse, repeat...
But I got to the end, and tried to leave the very last part as a minute. It crashed, and after copy and pasting that bit of the project throough seven different newly opened projects, I managed to render it... with no audio. And it wouldnt fit quite right when I plonked it back in and pieced all the parts together again.
I cut the song quite a bit, and it was hard to match it all up just right. D:
Anyway, enjoy.
And I might actually finish a Psychic video that actually, you know, CONTRIBUTES TO THE PLOT soon. T~T This was kind of a breather from attempting the thousands of moving-on videos.
I think I might have found a song that makes no sense given Rikus situation but allows me to be lazy and do a character montage toward the end. :3
So expect something plotty and in-the-present soon.
I want to make a bigger deal about Hope and Zexion, though, or else what I might have happen to poor Riku (I love torturing him so~! :3) would be a bit uncalled for.")

EDIT1: Some extra characters added, I realised Id forgotten to add them before my parents dragged me out. xD
EDIT2: Two more minor characters added; the project itself is going to be in a few parts. Also, the first due date is set; my dads birthday, stupidly enough, but I go on holiday a few days after that- so, bearing in mind any late entries, I would have the results out by the 25th, and have sent out the scripts and such by the 26th, the day before I set off for St Ives... -fangirl squeeing- Eeeee, theyre filming Pirates of the Carribean there soon! If I didnt have work experience Id hang around just to get a chance to see Johnny Depp!
Well, I wanted to get the story for this one to be a bit clearer by using dialogue, and realised... not a lot of the english cutscenes I have of most of my FF games actually would help in any way.
So I really wanted to hold an audition for a bit of voiceacting. I WOULD credit you, and all that, too. xD There are quite a few parts going, so please send this around as much as you can- I really appreciate (and need) the help!
Im not releasing the plot just yet, but the people who end up getting the characters will get to know much earlier than everyone else, so they can understand the emotions and such behind the lines. :]
Okay, now, people who do want to audition;

Second, Id prefer it if you try out with the lines Ive made up. But, if you want to give a few original lines as the character too, thats fine by me. Just convince me, thats all Im asking!

SHOTGUN (BLONDE GUY)-

(angry, upset) What the hell do you think youre doing?!
NAMINE-
(normal, maybe a little embarrased) Thank you for helping him out. Rikus too stubborn to ask for help with stuff like this.
(desperate) Riku, run!
(dark) Were just toys to him. Dont you understand that yet?
RIKU-
(angry) What have you done with her? Wheres Namine?
(angsty) I should have known. There was something about you from the beginning, I just couldnt put my finger on it.
(REALLY angry now) Give her back, you self-centered bastard!
SERAH-
(irritated) I just wish youd tell me what you were up to, thats all. But you wont, will you?
(stunned/upset) Sis... how could you...?
(typically sweet Serah) Hey, Light? I love you, you know.
RIKKU-

It was supposed to be the best day of my life.
I guess it would have been, had I not been able to feel the glares burning into my back as I stepped up to the altar. I glanced up the aisle, trying desperately to avoid the unflinching gaze of...
Seymour caught my eyes, and I cringed. As the Maester, he had once asked my fiancee to have his hand... but she turned him down, and admitted she wasnt ready for marriage.
I could imagine how livid he must be, three weeks later, to see Yuna walking up the aisle... towards me.
She was a vision in white, her normally tousled dark hair tied up, the flowers blood red in her fingers.
All through the vows, he was there, fuming, so much that I could barely concentrate.
I love you. Yuna whispers, throwing me a quick smile. I cant respond- this feels too much like a dream to me.
Next thing I knew, I was leaning down to kiss her, the words pronouncing us married ringing in my ears.
I can finally say it.
I love you.
Then I hear Seymours voice, cold and emotionless, despite his rage; Kill them.
The gunshots echo around us, as a searing pain rips through my shoulder, great enough to force me to collapse onto my knees. I hear Yuna hit the floor beside me, and see a glipse of the blood seeping out from underneath her...
Rage overcomes me, and I throw myself at Seymour... before I know it, hes dead on the ground, his last bitter smirk frozen on his face.
This isnt a dream anymore. Its a nightmare.
Concentrating is nearly impossible now. I hear a dull cry, and see the flash of light as Rinoa, Seymours daughter, summons.
The sight of the aeon is enough to make me want to scream. Valefor. Yunas first aeon, that she was so proud over summoning, all those years ago...
I barely feel the pain. A vague voice in the back of my head tells me to run, but I dont listen.
How can I listen?
I can see Yuna now, reaching for me from the light.

Okay, first off- there is a tiny scene of sexual nature in this.
But if youre super innocent, then, um. Just pretend hes hugging her with his top off. Really, it was from a Supernatural scene, and they werent actually going at it by that point- in fact, it was never shown. And it was quite sweet, it being Dean and all.

Why does looking at you always tick me off?
Everyone has a secret. Something they wanna leave behind, for whatever reason. Finding closure and all that crap. If they never talk about it, it stops bothering them, right...?
It kinda works. I forgot a lot of the time, like when I was with Serah- that was when I could completely put it all behind me and focus on being the happy, chatty Snow shed come to know. I could deal with the fact she wasnt interested in me in a romantic sense- I was fine as things were, being like a big brother to her. I still hoped, though. Hoped shed realise my feelings for her and return them.
I guess I was partly dreading what would follow if that happened. I know how bad Id gotten over Stella, and no matter how determined I was to change I still had that tiny unwavering doubt that I could really trust myself being with her in a romantic sense. Part of me was glad she didnt really seem to even look at me half the time- I was happy with things EXACTLY the way they were.
The obsession wasnt nearly as bad. I just wanted Serah safe, protected, by my side. But, the last time, it had reached such a point that Stella gre sick of me very quickly- breaking up with me after only a week when my obsessive behaviour escalated. Feeling empty, I headed to the nearest bar, aiming to drink myself out of the depression. Id loved her. For months, and months, and when she finally went out with me just for a little while shed tossed me aside like trash.
Wasted, I staggered home the way that lead past her house. The town was small, after all; that route was the fastest way. I couldnt resist trying to take a peek when I saw the shutters open- Id done it before, quite a few times, actually. But I saw her with HIM, and something snapped.
Nate had been my rival- and friend, if you use the term loosely- since we were tiny. And now, he and Stella...!
Theyd always been at it, behind my back. I could see that now. Or, I thought I could.
The rage just took over. I didnt think. I could barely see.
The lighter flared into life, and I felt a smirk stretch over my face as I saw the drapes catch the flame, stepping back as it ate towards them.
Then I ran, when the windows exploded out and the house really started to burn. Grabbed the motorbike, tried to get out of town in case any of it was traced back to me.
Id driven for miles before the drink got the better of me and I careered off the bike. Everything went black.
And then I woke up, patched up, to find a girl leaning over me, trying to offer comfort.
Youre lucky. A fall like that, and barely a scratch on you.
She asked where I had been travelling from, and I answered truthfully without thinking. Then she told me, perfectly happy, that her brother had lived there since they were tiny. Their parents had split up, and their mom had taken her younger brother... Nathaniel.
I knew then that I couldnt be there when the news reached her.
Nate and Stella had to be dead. There was no questioning it. Id heard the screams as I ran away from the house.
I didnt even realise I was dreaming about it all until her voice broke through my reverie.

I turned around, watching Namine distrustfully. She had taken Serah. I knew that. And for that- as well as her resemblance to the girl that haunted me- I was never gonna trust her.
