Ustad Waseem Ahmed Khan was the featured artiste at the FEA-curated "The Essential Agra Gharana" concert held at Bangalore International Centre, Domlur. He began his recital with Raag Jaijaivanti. The raag featured two bandishes, "Paalna Gadh Laagee Re Badhaiya" followed by "Naadaan Aankhiya Laagee"
He was accompanied by Gurumurthy Vaidya on tabla and Bharat Hegde on harmonium. Tanpura support was provided by Vidya and Vijay Desai.
