The best things come to those who wait...
Back at the beginning of March we ran a team build creating these feeders for the Visayan warty pigs at Yorkshire Wildlife Park Ltd.
After some initial nerves the boys came over and started exploring as the group watched, but they did not quite get the hang of manipulating the ball to drop more food into the tray before the participants had to go.
They spent most of the rest of the day working it out though and from the empty boomer balls the keepers knew they'd been successful.
The trouble was they only seemed to be doing it when no one was watching!
So we are very gratful to Keeper Amy for patiently trying to get the follow up footage at the end of this video, showing the boys in action at last!
The teams did an amazing job at working together to make these feeders and as you can see it was well worth it!
