This level requires two wallzips, which makes it rather frustrating RNG-wise. However, on this attempt I got both zips first try.
0:15 - the first zip happens in a tight spot at the right side of the blocked first level corridor. This is actually a fairly consistent spot for wallzips, at least if you're quick enough and can get to this corner while the background lag is still happening. I revolve the camera like I do in an attempt to manipulate the background lag... sometimes it seems to do something? This could use some more research, though.
Seimei Abe is used to glide to the other side of the area. Pang Tong would be slightly faster, but the arc of his air special is worse, and it would be harder (impossible?) to get all the reach I need with him.
As one extra bit of RNG, the nearby ballista can shoot you out of the sky while you're gliding. You can recover by quickly pressing block and doing another air charge attack, but it's still a small time loss if it happens.
0:29 - the second wallzip I do at the corner near the urn near the final gate. You can start the wallzip by brushing against the urn as well, which is in theory slightly faster, but also less consistent. I once again revolve the camera to look at some enemies to intentionally create background lag.
0:46 - the rest of the level is heading to the top floor with Benkei. Unfortunately this area isn't too compatible with Benkei speed boosts, and I usually only get 3,5 or 4 boosts max here. The amount of boosts you get might vary depending on which version of the game you have, so another player might be able to easily beat this record because of this.
1:35 - you can always get one consistent Benkei boost right at the final stretch.
As for the final battle, I use Zhang He since he can consistently defeat Orochi X in 4 hits. Perhaps a faster tactic exists? (Well, I know it's possible to pick up a War God's Axe from bumping into some enemies with Benkei earlier on in the path, but this, too, is random.)
