Fall is here, and that means pumpkin season! In this recipe, we're combining some of our favorite things – pumpkin and bars – to create an easy and delicious treat that the whole family will love.

Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 2/3 cups granulated sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
15 canned pumpkin
2 cups sifted AP flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
Icing:
8 ounce cream cheese at room temperature
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350F
Using an electric mixer at medium speed, combine the eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin until light and fluffy. Stir the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt an baking soda together and add the dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture and mix on low speed until thoroughly combined and the batter is smooth.
Spread the batter into a greased 13x10 inch baking dish.
Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool completely before frosting the bars.
Make the icing. Combine the cream cheese and butter in a medium bowl with and electric mixer until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and mix at low speed until combined. stir in the vanilla and mix again.
Spread on cooled pumpkin bars.
