So I like to use Equinox in some unusual ways; here's one of them.
*This video will focus more on offensive tactics with Destreza Prime when paired with Equinox in her Night Form, but uses other concepts I've gone over in previous videos. Please refer to this: youtube.com/watch?v=2A6Mv89IrDg for more information about the build I am using.*
Destreza Prime's High Crit Damage and Chance, combos that inflict Slash Procs and quick attack speed make it a solid candidate for Condition Overload/Blood Rush multiplier stacking. Despite the innate damage being primarily Puncture, because of the slash procs from the combos, you often times can get both Puncture and Slash procs on a target, which is great for amping damage through Condition Overload. By using Relentless Combination, you can not only lock in your combo counter easily by inflicting a Slash proc, but also raise it rapidly by inflicting Slash Procs on multiple targets.
The combo counter will rise for all enemies afflicted every time the slash DoT ticks, even while enemies are put under Rest (and Rest enhances the damage done from procs). So you can purposely keep target(s) alive to build and maintain your Counter to take advantage of the increased crit chance Blood Rush provides easily. Or casually watch them die from particularly nasty slash procs.
Destreza Prime is also capable of performing finishers due to Vulpine Mask's Hidden Flourish, which is easily executed by holding block before attacking and is great as it can hit multiple foes surprisingly easy. Rest is also an option if you want to use a finisher or you can use it to amp damage. Many of the combos also hit multiple times, which makes inflicting procs and increasing the Counter a breeze.
Life Strike is an invaluable tool for staying alive at higher levels as you'll basically full recover all your life from a single attack, especially if you use a finisher (which also makes you immune to damage for the animation and are pretty quick when your attack speed is maxed out from the buffs). it should never be maxed as 5% lifesteal is more than enough to recover all the health you need and the excess is just wasted.
A 10,000 damage hit will recover 500 Health, which is incredibly easy to accomplish with a build like this, so having a higher life steal is just overkill for any frame but Inaros. Basically a maxed Life Strike only really increases your Channeling costs and ends up being a waste of Endo, Mod points and Channeling cost, which isn't worth it.
I use Toxic Flight with this build sometimes instead of Rush due to the Toxin Proc it causes can also be used to amp damage through Condition Overload.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them.
