Hello everyone,
These recent additions to our arsenal have been released today and I'm excited to show of the new range possible with them equipped.
I'm a huge fan of using both my Primary and Secondary as Utility Weapons, often with their purpose to aid in the survival of my frame or others. Neither Ferrox or Staticor are particularly strong weapons on their own, (even more so the way I use them) but they have some of the biggest radial attacks in the game and are still useful when their damage falls off because of it.
Ferrox has the unique ability that when it is thrown with Alt/secondary fire, it emits electricity at regular intervals to all enemies within its radius while dragging enemies closer to it. This is one of the weapons that benefits from Primed Firestorm since it allows it to cover a much larger area and can lock down pathways much better now while inflicting damage and status effects, particularly Viral, which amplifies damage from all sources.
Staticor has both a semi automatic mode that fire projectiles that have a small AoE, as well as a charged shot mode that creates a much larger radial AoE. Most people avoid the weapon due to the stagger effect of the AoE blasts, but Prime Sure Footed nullifies this. I try to use as much Fire Rate as possible on both weapons due to improve how effective both are at hitting multiple enemies with status effects (Viral & Radiation being the most important).
I plan on working on my Riven rolls on both weapons probably for more Fire Rate and on Staticor probably Cold or Toxin so I can use another Fire Rate mod while maintaining the same elemental combo, but I'm not too worried about damage tbh.
I have Banshee for that ^_^.
