Seagulls Gather | War Lord of the Air Book Review @SeagullsGather | Uploaded December 2021 | Updated October 2024, 10 minutes ago.
My book review of the novel 'War Lord of the Air' by Michael Moorcock. There are different editions of this text with minor variations but this is the 1981 edition (War Lord of the Air was first published in 1971). Michael Moorcock Snr (the fictional Grandfather of the author) meets Oswald Bastable, a time traveller from the alternative 'history' of 1973, who tells him a story of how the worlds great Empires used air ships to dominate their colonies and how one man, the communist revolutionary O.T. Shaw, defeated them all.
