Seagulls Gather | Goodbye California by Alistair Maclean book review @SeagullsGather | Uploaded April 2022 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
My review of 'Goodbye California' a 1977 novel from master thriller writer Alistair MacLean. In the story an islamic terrorist group holds California to ransom with a number of nuclear weapons. Super-cop Sergeant Ryder is on the case but in his way are interfering CIA agents and corrupt cops. Can he save LA from annihilation?
Alistair MacLean's other credits include the Guns of Navarone, Ice Station Zebra and Where Eagles Dare.
