Over a year after Vladimir Putin’s ‘special military operation’ – Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022 – a panel of experts will discuss the course and state of the conflict and consider the future. Particular attention will be paid to the situation in Ukraine, the intentions of the Russian government, and international responses, including that of Britain.

Panellists include: Professor Stella Ghervas, Newcastle University, Dr Tetyana Lunyova, V.G. Korolenko Pedagogical University of Poltava, Ukraine and Dr Ian Garner, Author and Historian. The panel is chaired by Dr Martin Farr.
