Following on from the last video youtu.be/UGny6gGcem8 I finally realised that the original cooling fans are not working at all and haven't been for a while! My 'bad' for not realising this straight away.
Anyway, the 150 mm fan that I've mounted outside the Quasar is working fine. This fan in completely separate from the Quasar and blows air from under the unit, across the cooling fins. It's controlled by a temperature probe touching the top right corner of the Quasar aluminium case and set to 32 degrees centigrade.
