Starting at St Alphage Gardens by the Roman Wall which was re-fortified in the medieval period and exploring a number of important sites in the history of London during the middle ages from St Elysingspittal Hospital, Cripplegate Tower, St Alban Wood Street, St Martin-le-Grand, St Paul's Cathedral, Trig Lane Stairs, Queenhithe, Watling Street and the Great Conduit on Cheapside. This walk links late Anglo-Saxon Lundenburgh to Norman London.
