This video traces the proposed route of a lost Roman road that ran through East London from Stratford to Great Dunmow in Essex. There are three possible routes for the Roman London road between the River Lea and the River Roding. This walk follows the most likely alignment that runs from Stratford, across Wanstead Flats, Wanstead Park and the corner of Snaresbrook to the River Roding. From here it heads straight through Claybury, Chigwell to Hobbs Cross.
