A walk through the hidden landscape of London to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the publication of Iain Sinclair's groundbreaking book Lud Heat. The journey into the sacred geometry of London starts at the grave of William Blake in Bunhill Fields cemetery, and the obelisk memorial to Daniel Defoe and traces an alignment that link a series of 18th Century churches by Nicholas Hawksmoor from St Luke's Old Street, Christ Church Spitalfields, St George-in-the-East, and St Alfege Greenwich. We also visit the most influential of the Hawksmoor churches in Iain Sinclair's psychogeography of the East End, St Anne's Limehouse which Iain calls the Gateway to Albion.
The 50th Anniversary edition of Lud Heat is published by Swedenborg House Press.
