A walk in the London Heatwave as temperatures soar across the city. After abandoning the extreme heat of the Tube I sought refuge in the London Olympic Park walking beside the River Lea before walking along the peaceful Lea Navigation past the London canal boats, just being close to water is cooling in a London summer. Millfields in Clapton provided an escape from the London heatwave in the cool shade of the trees. I then crossed back over the canal to Leyton Marsh and around the Waterworks to the wonderful Marsh Lane Fields in Leyton. This is a great London summer walk.
