With so much choice, it's not possible to be able to give everything attention. We do a decent job of working together as a community to uncover where the value and integrity lies. Not only is this fun, it’s efficient.
Some brands make it easy for us to ignore them; diluted character or overly hiked prices are usually the most common reasons.
But other brands are taking steps to actively give us something. They are making genuine earnest efforts to bring something to the table and saying - here you go, is this what you’ve been asking for?
I think I can share 5 prominent, well-known brands who have done this in recent times. Not only have they stepped up with genuine legitimate improvements, they’ve been very careful with their pricing too. And yet, not a single one of them is celebrated in this year’s OSWAs.
I’ll go further. They tend to only make cameo appearances in the vPub. Perhaps, I’ve forgotten them. In this session we’ll shine a little light and spread a little love - for those that don’t deserve to be forgotten.
