Volantex F-4U Corsair - One Nice Flying Model!
The Volantex F-4U Corsair is one nice flying model! This ready to fly, four channel radio control airplane comes out of the box ready to fly. Simply snap on the propeller, insert the landing gear into the wing slots, charge the battery and go fly.
The Volantex F-4U Corsair has a built in gyro system that operates the controls to ensure smooth flight for this smaller aircraft. You can select full gyro stabilization in beginner mode, less stabilization in mid mode and expert mode provide full control with no stabilization. This is all done with a switch on the transmitter.
The Corsair uses a two cell 400 mA lipo battery for plenty of power with the brushless motor. Ground takeoffs as well as hand launches work fine.
The Corsair flies extremely well. The model is smooth in the air, has plenty of power and is very predictable in its flight paths. Overall a very easy model to fly once you are comfortable with a trainer aircraft. Do be sure to keep power on during the landing, it is not at all a glider in the flare.
