Headphones and HD for the best sound! No seriously, I mean it this time :3

First and foremost, thanks for 800+ subs guys! It's been a while, but now I'm back from a 4-month hiatus! I've really missed doing this quite a lot, and it feels great to be playing Vocaloid again XD

I've been planning to do this one for quite a while now (actually as a duet with Lok), but since he's bogged down with some other things, I figured I might as come back on YT and put up something now :)

What can I say, Ryo never manages to disappoint. This song is just...HNNNNNGGGGH. Dat buildup to the chorus--DAT CHORUS....ugh /melts ;A; Honestly, this is right up there with Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari IMO, and probably my favourite Vocaloid song at the moment.

It was tough to get the mix right, due to how freaking dense the instrumental is. I ended up turning the reverb up quite a lot higher than usual, which, surprisingly enough, helps the clarinet cut right through the mix :)

Also tried something completely new this time--recorded all the chorus harmony lines twice, and hard panned them left and right. Whoever came up with this idea is a genius, cause it adds so much space to the mix without ANY reverb (headphones help you appreciate the effect XD)! Of course, that also means a lot more headaches with tuning...especially given all the suspended chords. Well, even if the tuning really goes down the toilet sometimes, I figured the effect was totally worth it :)

Tried to do some clarinet sweep-picking (as Lok would call it XD) as well, for better or for worse :s
