You'll probably have to crank up the volume a bit :) Piece begins at 1:18
Hey Youtube...haven't uploaded anything in forever, and this is largely the reason why.
Can't even begin to count the number of hours I spent practicing this, but really no amount of preparation can help you overcome nerves completely. You can probably tell that I'm slightly jittery--this being my first solo with an ensemble of this size.
Oh well, the nerves go away pretty quickly once you start getting into the music.
It's far from a flawless performance, but that's what happens when you only have a single take. But, regardless of my perennial tuning issues and the fact that I just lose count in a couple of sections, I'm very satisfied nonetheless. *Especially* with such awesome acoustics :D
And if classical isn't your thing, I'll be sure to resume my Vocaloid-covering duties in the near future - as soon as I whip my playing back into shape, after putting down my instrument for a good month or so following this concert orz
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Big thanks to my mom for recording the whole thing on her iPad (lo and behold, my first truly HD video ^_^)
Performed with the Hart House Symphonic Band on March 23

Supercell - World Is Mine
Thats just me blowing off some prom anxiety (so I guess in a way this song is appropriate) :S
Well, this was a fun cover, because its always cool going into extreme registers and adding glisses (and of course, songs by Ryo are always awesome). This actually took two takes cause I squeaked massively towards the end the first time. Thank goodness VideoPad editor is so versatile. Dunno why the hell theres those annoyings lines. At any rate, enjoy =)

Sung by LiSA / Karuta
From the anime Angel Beats
Original composition by Jun Maeda
As promised Tom, here it is!
Very simple yet beautiful song, and I think its just the type that matches well with the clarinets warm and relatively dark tone.
A big thank you to all my subscribers, for hitting 50 subs! Cheers, and thanks for all the kind words and support :D. Thats MY most precious treasure alright :P
Hope you enjoy ^ ^
I own only my playing! Thanks very much to leon100243 for the Karuta ver. instrumental, which can be found here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeFsAPFD7v8&feature=player_embedded [Angel Beats] - Ichiban no Takaramono / 一番の宝物 (clarinet cover) 【吹いてみた】](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/quKCc41YHds/mqdefault.jpg)

![[VOCALOID] - Magnet (flute and clarinet cover)
My second time covering this song, and this time done with flute and clarinet! The flute playing is courtesy of the very multi-talented Grise (http://www.youtube.com/user/GriseLovesRoses) go sub her right now!
Again with the second takes...Personally Im in favour of a drier reverb, so the echoing in this one is turned way down. This time tuning issues are less noticeable and the rhythm is more consistent, though not nearly perfect. But thats what makes this song so tricky the incredibly hard syncopation. Ah well, close enough ^ ^
