Hello! After some time away we're back with an update, thanks for your patience !
Today we're taking our dairy goats out to their grazing before checking on recently hatched chicks.
Then we're sharpening our scythes and mowing a small field in readiness of building a tree nursery.
We then spend the rest of the morning in our large polytunnel, talking about the changes that we are implementing and the transition from market garden into forest garden. We look at the perennials and fruit trees that we are planting in the tunnel, including grapes, figs, almond and peach trees. Rosa chats about the benefits of self seeding vegetables before we string up our tomatoes. Plus lots of playing, learning and laughing from our one year old farm kid!
