In this weeks Vlog we are rolling out bales of straw to carry on mulching our syntropic food forest rows in the silvopasture system we have for our goats, geese and hens. We also take a look at how we have reused/recycled an old IBC tank and made it into a moveable goose house. We also visit the polytunnel in the market garden to have a quick look at our polyculture veg plantings, how we are using ground cover crops such as sweet potato and squash to suppress weeds while growing veg and how our self seeded veg is growing so abundantly.

Hi, we're James and Rosa! Welcome to Tap o' Noth Farm, an 8 acre permaculture designed food forest farm/homestead in Aberdeenshire, NE Scotland. We practice home scale to small farm scale agroforestry and regenerative agriculture methods to produce organic fruit and vegetables, raise dairy goats for all our raw milk needs, geese to graze our silvopasture and coppice systems and laying hens, moved around in a Chickshaw, for an abundance of eggs.
