Here's how our small veg box looked last week.
Rainbow Chard, Sprouting Broccoli, Salad bag, Courgette, Onions, Beetroot, Broadbeans and Cabbage.
We're starting to get more veg into the boxes now after a long, cold and wet spring and early summer. This has been the slowest growing season we've experienced and one of our most troublesome but we're getting along now!
We are growing vegetables and providing eggs for 40 Community Supported Agriculture share members within a 15 mile radius of the farm.This is our fourth season farming vegetables. We grow these vegetables on quarter of an acre, 270m above sea-level, 57 degrees North. We have as little as three/four months frost free growing and only one small polytunnel so nearly all our produce is grown outside on the side of Tap o' Noth hill in Northern Scotland.
