A new experimental couple for me. In this AU Vitani and Todd live in one enormous city, it's some kind of Zootopia, only animals are not wearing clothers, less anthropomorphic and more close to nature like in The Lion King. There are areas in the city that a ruled by some animals, and The Pridelands is one of this area.
Vitani here is also in Zira's pride, Zira is planning to take over the Pridelands like in canon. She orders her cubs to train, Vitani trains a lot, she likes to have some space and train alone. During one of her training Vitani accidentally meets Todd, a young fox who isvwandering through the city.
Todd lives in the most human like part of the city where a lot of amusement parts are located, some animals operate the parks (mostly monkeys and Rafiki is there too, he is never shown in the video, but he saw Vitani and Todd a lot).
Vitani and Todd talk, they like each other. After a few days Todd comes again and soon he and Vitani are becoming best friends. They play and Vitani trains with Todd now. Zira doesn't know about Todd yet, Vitani keeps this friendship a secret, she knows Zira won't approve it.
Unseen by Zira Todd watched Vitani with Zira's pride a few times, he noticed Vitani looks numb and unhappy. Todd is worried, he tells Vitani she's not alright here and Vitani replies "yes". She always felt like stranger at home.
Todd tries to make Vitani feel better, he tells her to try running away with him, to live near amusement parks. It's still unclear if it could work but Vitani smiles back at Todd and they flee.
With Rafiki's invincible - for them - help Vitani and Todd stayed in one amusement park, they grew up and fell in love. Todd asked Vitani if she would marry him, Vitani replied "yes" again, only this time she was happy.
They started to look for a place for their new home, visited many areas of the city and found a hidden cozy den near a waterfall.
