Playthrough with Wolf. Amazingly, this 1996 port worked on my current PC and installed without any issues. And it mostly played without any issues, the only problems are that it has some brief framerate issues during the intro (leading to the music not being in sync) and the first few seconds of the first fight. There was an issue with the music during the name entry screen too.
The only other major problem was the controls. I couldn't play this well enough with a keyboard, and the only controller I could get it to work with was the dreaded Games for Windows Live controller... in other words, an Xbox 360 controller. And even then, it couldn't recognize all the buttons on it. I had to use X for punch, A for kick... and click the left thumbstick to block. I'm serious, that was the only other button it would work with.
Virtua Fighter PC is basically a port of the SEGA Saturn's Virtua Fighter Remix, but with the option to change the graphics so they look like the blocky models from the original VF Saturn port, or to the newer ones seen in Remix. I used the original graphics here. This port is also very recognizable to Europeans, as it was re-released as a budget title several times. Infact my own copy was from the Xplosive line of budget PC titles.
Oh, if you want to beat this game with Wolf easily, just keep doing neutral jumps and then do a kick whilst you're still in the air.
