Verbatim Durabio is a PC-PMMA (polycarbonate + acrylic) blend based on Mitsubishi’s Durabio material, originally developed as a glass substitute. It promises high scratch resistance, good impact strength and improved surface durability compared to standard PC.
In this video I test Verbatim Durabio in detail: tensile strength, layer adhesion, shear, torsion, creep, impact, bending, temperature resistance and wear behavior.
This was also the most wear-resistant filament I have ever tested so far — but does that automatically make it better than pure PC?
Let’s find out.
