How economies are structured has a profound effect on the prosperity and quality of the lives of a given society’s members. Modern governments have adopted various economic policies in efforts to improve society but despite these efforts we've seen wealth inequality and inefficiency in the use of resources continue to occur. In this interview we'll discuss how ancient Vedic societies structured their economies to optimize them for prosperity.

Vedic societies were centered around the wisdom of the Vedas. Archeology shows that wealth inequality in these societies was low. We know this because dwelling sizes didn't vary in size much. Perhaps Vedic histories and injunctions hold clues as to how we can solve modern economic problems by reducing wealth inequality and increasing the efficient use of resources. Both socialism and capitalism have shown to have shortcomings. Could the Vedas reveal a missing ingredient from economic policies? With modern governments ramping up their application of modern monetary theory and other market manipulation tactics this topic is more relevant than ever.
