The Problem of Evil is a famous argument against theism. Basically it argues that if God is so great why is a the world so wretched.
Akshay Gupta (Ādi Puruṣa Dāsa) is a PhD candidate at Cambridge University. He holds a Masters degree in Religious Studies from Duke University and an undergraduate degree in Religious Studies from UNC-Chapel Hill. His research interests include Hindu Theology, Philosophical Theology, Caitanya Vaiṣṇavism, and the Problem of Evil. His PhD dissertation explores how the Caitanya Vaiṣṇava tradition's theological framework addresses the problem of evil.
James Fodor has written a book Unreasonable Faith: How William Lane Craig Overstates the Case for Christianity". He will be offering a skeptics perspective.
