it's been exactly two months since i uploaded my last personal project (the xiao video), it feels like a lifetime! as i had already said, the time i have at my disposal for editing has been dramatically reduced, so this is the result
i started this video a little more than a week ago, and could only work on it sporadically, but i'm so happy it's done because i REALLY wanted to use this song for vanitas. he fits the chaotic vibe so well, i tried to keep it fun and spicy at the same time (which, again: is a perfect match with his personality, minus the angst that we'll hopefully see later in the anime too). IT WAS SO HARD TO EDIT THOUGH OMG, i had had the idea in mind for a long time in fact but i hadn't dared.......... i died
ofc i had to do one of my usual weird mixes with the song, because i wanted to use certain lyrics to help with the scene selection! so i put a bit of the first verse into the second
so yet another vanitas feat. Måneskin edit, i seem to have a habit of combining artists with certain animes (like billie eilish with moriarty lol)

im uploading because the lack of fx on my channel was depressing me
plus i really enjoyed editing this part after all, it was one of those few (read: non-existent) cases when editing the song didnt make me grow tired of it but it actually made me wanna listen to it more! i even animated for the first time since july lol and i kinda regret everything cause for example at 00:12-00:13 you cant even tell the hair is moving and it took like an hour just for that

im not even a big fan of this pairing because of how much fucked up and heartbreaking events their relationship caused, but i felt like it fit the theme extremely well so i went for it :)

would you look at that, i finally managed to finish a video after opening 42389 projects for weeks!
this started as some sort of vent edit, since ive been feeling kinda upset about some things as of late and for the first time since i started editing basically i opened a new project with the sole purpose of letting my feelings out, not because i wanted to edit those specific characters or that specific song. then, as predictable because it seems like im absolutely incapable of doing anything without overthinking it, it turned into a regular video where i obsess over small things and render 34482309 times because i always see tiny mistakes that probably no one else would have noticed haha but honestly im glad, first of all because i actually accomplished something and secondly because it did help a bit with dealing with whats bothering me
plus as i was editing and listening to the song i kept thinking it reminded me SO MUCH of something, after a while i finally understood that the instrumental base sounds soooo similar to party monster by the weeknd which is a song ive wanted to edit for more than two years lol so no wonder this one caught my attention when i found it, other than the fact that the lyrics fit the characters of course
ill also take the chance to thank you all for 11k subscribers, which ive just reached today. to me this is a big accomplishment and im seriously happy and grateful for each and every person who watches whatever i post on this channel :) for the millionth time, i wanted to make something special but i dont feel like editing much nowadays (plus i have two parts and another project to complete before the end of the month), so i have no idea what to do tbh. i was thinking maybe some sort of Q&A? but idk if theres enough people interested for that, so if anyone has suggestions feel free to share haha
i hope you enjoyed the video! i hadnt edited otp since july 2018 and i was in withdrawal, what can i say :) the dvd/blue ray of their movie should also be released very soon, so hopefully good quality raws will finally be available. there’s so many new scenes I’d love to use

no, im not dead yet :)
i edited this video 3/4 days ago between 1:00 and 4:00 a.m. because i couldnt sleep, tbh ive had this song in mind for these characters since i was watching the anime during the summer cause i thought it would turn out to be quite a fun video, considering the lyrics :D so i fixed some stuff between yesterday and today, and here it is. i havent spent much time on youtube lately, almost none at all, because ive been EXTREMELY busy and stressed with studies and various irl issues, but im still trying to be somewhat active even though before this video the last time i edited something was at the beginning of september lol i dont want to quit, but inspiration and time are hard to find as always. still, i have projects in mind so pray for me plz

hello! i started this video on july 5th, the plan was finishing and uploading on the 7th aka SaruMi day but in the end i couldnt bring myself to complete it because ive seriously been in the worst mood during the past couple of days, for no particular reason. everything is fine though, its just one of those emo moments that struck every once in a while, you know lol im still not over it, but at least uploading a video is making me feel more productive
last year i couldnt edit anything for SaruMi day, since i was on a trip to japan (i miss it SO MUCH), and i absolutely didnt want to skip two years in a row. i always seem to edit them with angsty/sad songs, but thats a big part of the beauty of the pairing in my opinion haha the k seven stories lost small world movie was truly a blessing, since now im able to use all those emotional scenes from their childhood for added tears :))) even though im still annoyed at some changes/omissions they made at the beginning and i wish they could have adapted the whole novel, since the movie only stops halfway. but tbh i never even imagined i would see this in anime and two years after it came out i keep rewatching in awe
idk how after six years im not even close to being tired of editing them. maybe its because i put a bit of personal feelings in each one of their videos, maybe im just bound for life :)
