Meet Valor, our bald eagle ambassador!
After surviving a serious injury in the wild, Valor found a permanent home at DZCA. Over the past seven years, his care team has worked patiently to build his confidence, giving him choice, space, and a safe place to retreat when he needs it. Thanks to that trust-based training, Valor is building up to participating in demonstrations and helping guests learn more about bald eagles, their conservation success story, and how human actions can make a real difference for wildlife.
If you spot Valor near the Animal Hospital, you might just catch him training, sunning, or showing off a bit of his very silly personality.
