In this journal entry I had to time-travel back into the 80's (early 90's). My vDrive, the nifty SD card reader that emulates microdrives, broke. One of the small arduino boards just gave up the ghost. So, I had to use my trusty microdrives and set up a PC-to-QL serial link. It works pretty well all things considered, though I had to solve the chicken-and-egg problem of getting the first executable on a cartridge, since QL executable have a special file header. I'll try to create a cartridge filled with my favorite C compiler and write a small program to show it all working. Fingers crossed we don't get any bad sectors!
